Thanks to money off vouchers, 2 for 1 tickets and BOGOFs, we have all been keeping our heads above water surfing the waves of this crazy recession. Every day there’s another voucher to be reeled in. But what’s the use of a money saving voucher that you can’t print out?
I’ve found that if you don’t have a printed voucher there is no way you can take advantage of a deal. They want to see an actual voucher so if you’re on holiday you may want to pack your printer!
Every year I set off for the Edinburgh Fringe festival but last year I wasn’t sure if I could afford it in all honesty. I love the Fringe but it is pretty expensive so when I heard of all the money off vouchers to be had and the two-for-one ticket deals I realised it was not completely outside the realms of possibility for my strapped for cash self to take to the Fringe.
I did after all enjoy the festival but it was on a tight budget. And what’s more, judging by the packed venues and restaurants up and down the cobbled streets of Edinburgh (old and new), voucher collectors in the thousands were doing the same as me.
Ps. I’m not saying it was a great hassle getting vouchers printed out for me but the next time I take off for the Edinburgh Fringe, I’m packing my printer too.
